Ampol has named Olympia Vea from Northern Territory's Haileybury Rendall School as the national winner of the 2025 Best All Rounder competition.
2025 marks the 40th anniversary of the Best All Rounder initiative and stands as a testament to Ampol's dedication to advancing education, employment and community engagement opportunities through the Ampol Foundation. This is th e fourth year Ampol has recognised state and national best all-rounder winners for their exceptional achievements.
"The Ampol Best All Rounder Award has been a key initiative to powering better journeys for students nationwide into its fourth decade," Ampol Executive General Manager, People and Culture Meaghan Davis said.
"We are proud to acknowledge the most outstanding final-year students and the remarkable impacts they have made to both school and community, and believe this important initiative has played a role in developing well-rounded graduates over the last 40 years."

Vice-captain Olympia has excelled academically and has a proven track record of exceptional work ethic and commitment to her school and broader community.
Olympia mentors younger students through Early Bird Reading, Circle Time and after-school tutoring programs, and is actively involved with the SONY Foundation in supporting children facing challenges all while playing a leading role in her school's fundraising.
As part of her recognition, Olympia has won a laptop, a $5000 cash grant and a $1000 AmpolCash gift card, in addition to a $5000 grant for Haileybury Rendall School.
Haileybury Rendall School Principal Andrew McGregor said Olympia exemplifies excellence across every aspect of school life.
"Academically, Olympia has consistently achieved at a high level across all subjects, demonstrating diligence, perseverance, and a genuine love of learning. Her ability to maintain this standard while balancing a wide range of commitments speaks to her exceptional organisation and work ethic," McGregor said.
"Beyond the classroom, Olympia has immersed herself fully in school life. She has played a leading role in fundraising and house events, always stepping forward to support her peers and ensure the success of each activity. Her kindness and caring nature have made her a supportive role model for others.
"Olympia has been an exemplary leader – approachable, responsible, and deeply committed to the wellbeing and success of those around her.
"Olympia’s academic excellence, leadership, service, and compassion make her an outstanding representative of the values of the Ampol Best All Rounder Award. She has truly enriched our school community and is most deserving of this recognition."
Ampol has also named six other state winners of the 2025 Ampol Best All Rounder award. The winning recipients received a $2000 cash grant and a $1000 AmpolCash gift card, in addition to a $2000 grant for their respective school.
The 2025 Ampol Best All Rounder Award state winners are:
- New South Wales: Johlee Masters, Hay War Memorial High School
- Queensland: Harrison Thomas, Faith Lutheran College – Plainland
- South Australia: Niya Singhal, Wilderness School
- Tasmania: Ella Mollineaux, Flinders Island District High School
- Victoria: Luke Downing, St Albans Secondary College
- Western Australia: Claudio Gao, Churchlands Senior High School
The Best All Rounder Award is Ampol's longest running community program. Since 1985, more than 36,000 young Australians have been recognised in high schools across the country as their school's best all-rounder.
The program now forms part of Ampol's broader focus on education through its community partnerships. Other organisations supported through the Ampol Foundation include The Smith Family, Clontarf Foundation and Stars Foundation.
