Ampol Foodary to fundraise for The Smith Family in May
Wednesday 7 May
Ampol's national Foodary retail convenience network will fundraise for The Smith Family throughout May.
All funds raised for The Smith Family will go towards the Learning for Life program which provides financial, personal and practical support to empower young Australians to make the most of their education and reach their full potential.
The focus of youth education remains a core pillar of the Ampol Foundation and this retail fundraising campaign is aligned to helping create better futures for those in need.
"We are proud to once again raise crucial funds for The Smith Family across the Ampol Foodary retail network throughout May," Executive General Manager, Retail Australia, Kate Thomson said.
"Powering better journeys for those in need throughout the communities in which we operate is the mantra of the Ampol Foundation, and we're pleased to play our part in making a difference for young Australians.
"I'd like to thank our retail convenience staff, suppliers and customers for their ongoing dedication and support of Ampol's fundraising efforts."
The Smith Family Chief Executive Officer Doug Taylor said: "We're delighted that Ampol is once again supporting The Smith Family this year through its Foodary retail network.
"The Smith Family provides vital educational support to young Australians to overcome educational inequality caused by poverty. This gives students the opportunity to succeed in school, so they can thrive now and into the future.
"Every donation helps secure our core Learning for Life program and the long-term support of over 67,000 students experiencing disadvantage."
The Smith Family fundraising campaign would not be possible without the ongoing generosity of our Ampol Foodary customers, who are able to donate online, in-store at the counter or by purchasing a participating product.
10 cents from every purchase of a Four'N Twenty Beef Traveller Pie (160g), Connoisseur (90mL-114mL range), Kettle Chips (70-90g range), Gatorade (600ml range), Reese's Large Bars (73-79g range), Smith's Crinkle Chips (80-90g range) and Mars and Snickers Large Bars (64g) sold at participating Ampol Foodary stores will be donated to The Smith Family, courtesy of our kind supply partners. $1 from all Walkntalk Rugged items sold will also be donated as part of the campaign.
