Eligible entrants:

Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 16 years and over. Entrants under the age of 18 must have parent or legal guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering the promotion.

How to Enter:

To enter the Promotion, the entrant must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:

  1. Click on the promotional sponsored social media post specific to a particular location.
  2. Fully complete the online entry form with their personal details (First Name, Last Name, Current Age, Email Address and Mobile Phone).
  3. Simply tell us in 25 words or less how Ampol Foodary takes you from A to Anywhere
  4. Submit the form with all the details.

The promotion is limited to:

  1. Only one (1) entry per person, per email, multiple entries will be disqualified.
  2. The entry must be submitted in accordance with the entry requirements.

Total Prize Pool:

5 prizes in AmpolCash e-Gift Cards valued at AUD $100.00 each.

Total Prize Pool for each activity is AUD $500

Prize Conditions:

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the AmpolCash e-Gift Card are not included.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Any unused balance of the AmpolCash e-Gift Card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the AmpolCash e-Gift Card is subject to any terms and conditions specified on the AmpolCash e-Gift Card.

Judge(s)

The judge(s) of the competition will be: 2 members of the Ampol Brand & Communications Team

Determining the winner(s)

The entries will be judged, and the winner(s) will be determined, at or around 3:00pm AEST on 17/11/2025 at Ampol Head-Office. Level 3/ 29-33 Bourke Road, Alexandria, NSW 2015

Winner notification:

Chosen winner(s) will be contacted by using the contact details on file with the Promoter including in writing within seven (7) days of the winner(s) being determined.

Publishing Results:

Within 7 days of the winner(s) being determined, the name of each winner will be published at: www.ampol.com.au/elanora

Unclaimed Prizes:

Prizes must be claimed by 24/11/2025 at 12:00 pm AEST. In the event of an unclaimed prize by the time stipulated, the Promoter will award the next best entry with the prize.

If there are still unclaimed prizes by 01/12/2025 at 12:00 pm AEST, then the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the unclaimed prizes.

Introduction: 

1. The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule) and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.

2. The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date ("Promotional Period"). Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.

3. Valid and eligible entries will be accepted during the Promotional Period.

Privacy: 

4. The Promoter collects personal information (”PI") to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use, and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://ampol.com.au/privacy-and-reporting-policy. 

5. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.

Who can enter the competition: 

6. The competition is only open to Australian residents who are aged 16 years and over.

Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering the promotion.

8. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or 1st cousin. 

How to enter the competition: 

9. To enter, each entrant must accurately complete all details with the ‘How to Enter’ section of the schedule. 

10. Entries must not have been published previously or used to win prizes in other competitions. 

11. An entry cannot be modified after it has been submitted. 

12. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. If there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final.

14. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

Prizes: 

15. Each Prize is not transferrable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. 

16. If a Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater monetary value. This right is subject to any applicable legislation, regulations, or directions from a regulatory authority. 

17. If a prize is won by a person under the age of 18, the prize may be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian and where applicable to the prize a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.

18. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the gift card are not included. Any unused balance of the gift card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the gift card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the gift card.  

How the Winner(s) are determined: 

19. The competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). 

20. No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Promotion. Where entry is allowed online, there is no additional cost to enter the Promotion other than any cost paid by the entrant to access the website or social media platform of entry via their Internet service provider.

21. At the time and date specified in the “Determining the winner(s)” section of the schedule, each valid entry will be judged individually on its merits by the judges based on the Content Criteria. 

22. The winning entry or entries will be the entry or entries that best satisfy the Content Criteria, as determined by the judges. 

23. The number of winning entries to be selected will be the same as the total number of Prizes specified in the Schedule. 

24. Each winner will receive a prize. 

Notification and Claiming the Prize(s):

25. The Promoter reserves the right to request each winner to provide proof of identity and/or proof that they were responsible for the winning entry. 

26. It is the responsibility of each entrant to notify the Promoter of any change to their contact details.

27. All reasonable attempts will be made by the Promoter to contact each winner.

28. Each prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry and any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant or by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.

29. For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner's surname, initial and State/Territory or postcode of residence.

Unclaimed Prizes: 

30. If any winner chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to) or does not take or claim a prize by the time specified by the Promoter, or is unavailable, they forfeit the prize, and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.

31. If the Promoter is unable to contact each winner to grant the prize by 24/11/2025, the prize will be granted to the next best entry into the promotional period. 

32. In the event the Promoter is unable to award all prizes by 01/12/2025 due to circumstances outside of the Promoter control such as number of entries into the promotion, or invalid entries, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit any unclaimed amounts. 

No Liability: 

33. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (e) use of a prize.

34. If entry is via Facebook or Instagram or the competition is promoted on Facebook or Instagram, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram and each entrant agrees to grant Facebook and/or Instagram a complete release from any claims that they now have or may have in the future which relate to or are incidental to the competition. Entrants acknowledge and agree that: 

i) Any information they provide in connection with the Competition is provided to the Promoter and not to Instagram or any other social network; and 

ii) Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competition will be directed to the Promoter, not to Instagram or any other social network.

Termination of Competition: 

35. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
