One of the main opportunities for fraudulent card use is a lost or stolen AmpolCard.

Mandatory PINs for your AmpolCard users make it much more difficult for anyone to misuse AmpolCard.

Update your PIN via your Card Portal

To update your PIN:

  • Search the card in the quick search field

  • Click ‘Card Actions’

  • Under ‘Update PIN’ enter a 4-6 digit sequence and click 'Submit'

Take the guesswork out of managing vehicle expenses. Through the Card Portal you can run a range of AmpolCard reports that provide essential insights into when and how your team are using their AmpolCard.

Down to an individual driver or vehicle level, reports can help to identify accidental or fraudulent non-work-related AmpolCard use. These are just some of the details you can see when you run an ‘Exception Report’ that could help flag potential card misuse or overspending:

  • More than 1 fill on the same day

  • Fills greater than vehicle fuel capacity

  • Odometer readings that don’t match fuel usage

  • Transactions outside regular business hours
